some random blog peruser here... i was wondering where you get your hair done? i love how your hair looks in the photos - the big bouncy curls. do you do them yourself? or perm? i tried a somewhat loose perm today at kim sun young in k-town and it came out a bit too tight. i look like an ahjumah. =P some helpful advice would be greatly appreciated! (:

anonymous (the second): thanks! i actually curled my hair in those pics... i had a perm but it's pretty much all out of my hair now, so i just used a curling iron. i get my hair done at a salon called miega in ktown. the stylist there gives the BEST haircuts-- everyone i've referred to him has loved his haircuts-- but his perms can be a little too loose and come out too fast. but, they don't damage your hair as badly as most other salons in ktown. also, if your hair's too tight right now, don't worry about it because it'll probably get looser in a week or two, plus it'll probably last longer. it also may just take some getting used to. lastly, if you need some styling products for curly hair, try bumble & bumble curl creme... it keeps the shape of the curls w/o giving you that weird crunchy/wet look. if you want the number for miega, feel free to email me! g'luck w/ your hair. =)

(: thanks for the tidbit! i'm still getting used to my ahjumah-ish curls, but hopefully in a week or more it'll loosen up. i have some of the bumble & bumble curl creme which seems to help, but my hair is so frizzy still that it doesn't help the fly-aways. on continues my search for the perfect hair product. (: next time, i'll try out your hair stylist! what's his name and number?
